Professional service fees, and other incurred costs and administrative charges for professional alternative dispute resolution services may vary by service and by subject matter. Currently, the following guidelines are available to you for Mr. Honeywell:
Mediation: Circuit Civil or Appellate: Hourly: $365.00/hour Daily: (If alternatively pre-elected) $2500.00/day)**
To permit parties their maximum schedule flexibility for full resolution effort, Mr. Honeywell schedules only one mediation conference per day.
Currently, there is no surcharge for multi-party, extended hours or complex-subject matters. Further, there is no minimum hour requirement for scheduling in the Greater Orlando area and no travel charge or expense for service anywhere in Central Florida.
And, there is no charge for any mediator-participant pre-mediation review or conference or mediator advance consultation or for preparation or review.
Minimum hour requirements and/or travel charges may exist for services required outside of Central Florida. Details upon request.
Billing for all services, including incurred costs, if any, will be divided, pursuant to the Florida Rules of Procedure: i.e., usually equally between those named parties, represented or Pro Se, participating in the mediation unless otherwise agreed upon by the participants.
**Please note: Effective June 1, 2017, for all new matters booked by Mediate First, Inc. of Orlando, Florida, as a new mediator-panel member of Mediate First, Inc., for uniformity, my hourly rates and billing practices for mediation will be governed by Mediate First, Inc.’s mediation rates and practices.
Arbitration. Hourly: $300.00/hour Daily: (Hearings) Minimum: $1125.00/day. Maximum: As agreed with and stipulated by the parties (or as required by Florida Law, if not otherwise elected).
Fees for professional services will include time spent upon administration, including selection of other arbitrators, review of materials presented, preparation, travel outside Greater Orlando, the arbitration hearing(s), the arbitration award, and any prior or subsequent hearings and deliberations. An itemized bill for services, including incurred costs, if any, will be submitted at the conclusion of the requested services or at other periodic intervals, if requested. Such billing shall be the responsibility of the retaining party or divided equally between the named parties participating in the arbitration if serving as either the sole arbitrator or the Chief Arbitrator.
Special Master. Hourly: $300.00/hour Daily: (Hearings) Minimum: $1125.00/day; Maximum: As agreed with and stipulated by the parties.
Fees for professional services will include time spent upon administration, review of materials presented, preparation, travel outside Greater Orlando, all hearing(s), all rulings or orders , and any prior or subsequent hearings and deliberations. An itemized bill for services, including incurred costs, if any, will be submitted at the conclusion of the services requested or, if requested, periodically. Such billing shall be divided equally, as ordered or as otherwise agreed between the named parties participating in the disputed matter.
Third Party Neutral. Hourly: $300.00/hour Daily: (Hearings) Minimum: $1125.00/day; Maximum: As agreed with and stipulated by the parties.
Fees for professional services will include time spent upon administration, review of materials presented, preparation, travel outside Greater Orlando, all hearing(s), all rulings or orders , and any prior or subsequent hearings and deliberations. An itemized bill for services, including incurred costs, if any, will be submitted at the conclusion of such services or, if requested, periodically. Such billing will divided equally or as otherwise agreed between the named parties participating in the disputed matter.
Mediation Administration Charges:
Presently all administration charges for mediation scheduling, administration, and billing are all included within the hourly rate charged by Mr. Honeywell.
Conference Facilities:
Conferences held in Honeywell Mediation, Mediate First, Inc. and/or Mediation Firm, Inc. facilities are without additional facilities charge. Cities available with these complimentary facilities are as shown in the Locations section of this website and at the separate websites of Mediate First, Inc. and Mediation, Inc..
